Go from a DraftKings player pool to a reviewed lineup, with the roster format and salary cap checked along the way.
Choose a DraftKings slate1. Load the exact slate
Select an upcoming DraftKings slate or import its player-salary CSV. Classic uses nine roster slots under a $50,000 cap. Showdown uses one Captain and five FLEX slots under the same cap, with Captain salary and scoring at 1.5 times.
2. Choose your build settings
Start with one cash lineup, or use Pro for tournaments and multiple lineups. Review excluded players, projections and any locks before generating. A player without a supported workload estimate may be excluded from automatic builds.
3. Check the result
Review the Captain when playing Showdown, salary remaining and team combinations. A high projection is an estimate, not a promised score. The best lineup for your preferences can change when salaries, availability or projections change.
4. Use the matching entry template
A player-salary CSV and an entries template serve different purposes. Load the template from the contest you intend to enter when prompted, verify the player-ID matches, then upload the exported file to DraftKings yourself.
Access and timing
One Classic cash lineup per run is available with a free account. Showdown, tournaments, multiple lineups and CSV export require Pro. Finish your build before kickoff: this tool does not support late swap or submit contest entries.

Salary file or entry template?
Use the salary file to define the available players and their IDs. Use the entries template to identify the contest entries you want to update. They are different files: a lineup that looks correct can still fail an upload if its player IDs or template belong to another slate.
Questions before you start
Can I build from my phone?
You can review and generate lineups on your phone and save an export to Files. DraftKings bulk CSV upload requires desktop access; plan the upload step before kickoff.
What should I check in Showdown?
Check the selected Captain, the Captain salary, all five FLEX players and the exact game slate. Showdown requires Pro.
Can I rebuild after the slate starts?
New full-lineup generation is blocked after kickoff. Fantasy Overdrive does not currently support late swap.
